
First Lady Laura Bush meets with Judith Shellenberger of the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation to discuss Helping America's Youth, a nationwide effort, initiated by President George W. Bush and led by First Lady Laura Bush, to benefit children and teenagers. Stan Ovshinsky, the CEO of ECD Ovonics, is a genius and pioneer in the field of alternative energy. His groundbreaking work in hydrogen and solar energy sources have shaped the study of and possibilities for reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. He holds the patent for the NiMH battery as well as 350 other inventions.
