The National Museum of Education sponsored the twelfth annual Induction Ceremony and Benefit of the National Gallery for America's Young Inventors. The luncheon was held at 12:00 noon at the Radisson Hotel in Akron, Ohio. This year's event highlighted the new partnership between The National Museum of Education and the Edison Innovation Foundation. The keynote speakers were Jeff Wilhite, standing in for Stanford Ovshinsky, a highly-respected and internationally known inventor and George Keegan of the Edison Innovation Foundation.
This year has begun a partnership between The National Museum of Education and the Edison Innovation Foundation. The mission of this partnership is to highlight the achievements of America's greatest young inventors. The newly-formed alliance will oversee the annual awards program for the National Gallery for America's Young Inventors and will recognize the new inductees with the first-ever "Edison Innovation Awards". This partnership plans to create the greatest youth recognition and preservation program in the United States.
